I don’t know if you were like me but I kept putting off travel and exotic trips because life always seemed to get in the way! Now you are a little older and wanting to venture around the world. I have made the decision to see as much of Canada as I can along with expanding my tennis travel adventures to the tournaments below grand slam levels. I look at it with a couple different lenses: cost for those of us on a fixed income and tips and trips for seniors getting around in different locations.

St. James Gate is a cozy pub in central Etobicoke, west Toronto, named after the Guinness brewery. It offers a lively Irish atmosphere, especially on St. Patrick’s Day, with front and back patios for sunny days. Accessible via public transit, the pub serves flavorful, varied meals, including lamb burgers and Irish stew. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable.
